We are very excited to be reopening the bar and restaurant on Saturday 4th July.
The safety of our team and customers remains our number one priority and we are doing everything and more to remain diligent. Following government guidelines we have developed new ways of working.
Advanced bookings for food and drinks are recommended and can be taken at short notice subject availability with consideration to safely being able to accommodate your reservation, ensuring the best management of customer numbers and social distancing. We will not be able to facilitate people standing at the bar at this time.
Please call us on 01782 680052 to book your table inside, outside in the courtyard or outside in the front garden. Initially the largest table size will be for 6 people from no more than two households. The majority of our tables indoors and outside have been spaced 2 metres apart.
You must provide your full name and contact number to our member of staff on arrival as per the government 'track and trace' scheme if needed - This information will be held for a minimum of 21 days and will be held securely under General Data Protection Regulations.
We are currently taking a break from issuing or redeeming loyalty cards - we'll let you know when we're issuing them again. (expiry dates will be extended where appropriate)
From Saturday 4th July we will be launching our new summer 2020 menu. They will be slightly reduced compared to previous menus in order to compensate for social distancing in the kitchen and safe working practices for our team. The menus will expand as social distancing measures relax. All menus will be available to view online.
On arrival you will notice new signs displaying hand sanitiser stations, social distancing and one way flows.
Our friendly team will still be on hand to assist and will meet you and show you to your table. From there, we will do our utmost to keep a safe distance where possible when taking orders and serving your table. Ordering at the bar and serving hatch outside is permitted as safety screens have now been installed for the protection of you and our staff.
Please pay contactless wherever possible.
In order to give everyone the greatest reassurance possible we will be taking the temperature of everyone entering the building, staff and customers. If anyone's temperature reads over 37.8 degrees Celsius they will not be permitted inside and asked to leave the premises to ensure public safety. If this occurs please use the governments 'track and trace' to help contain any potential spread of coronavirus.
Initially we will be open from 12.00pm to 11.00pm for drinks and from 12.00pm to 9.00pm for food. Food will be served throughout in order to space out arrival times and guest numbers. Please remember to call and book ahead.
We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and all staff are fully conversant with our new procedures. We have taken all reasonable steps to adhere to government guidelines to ensure our valued guests as well as our equally valued staff are safe Any Questions?
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your requirements, please give us a call or send an email.
